Advocacy
Awareness, Advocacy, Change
Holistic Wellness advocacy or mentoring (also referred to as coaching) is a collaborative process that can help to facilitate a person’s personal, academic, and professional growth by focusing on life skills and embracing the 8 Pillars of Holistic Health; an anti-inflammatory lifestyle.

Wellness is a modern word with ancient roots. The key tenets of wellness as both preventive and holistic can be traced back to ancient civilizations from the East (India, China) to the West (Greece, Rome). Holistic Wellness considers the Whole Self in seeking out ailments; the negative consequences of neglect to a healthy state of being.
Wellness is distinguished by an interactive state of being: all systems go! It is associated with an active process of awareness and making choices that lead to an outcome of optimal health and longevity (anti-inflammatory lifestyle).
We focus on the causes and not the symptoms when designing an individual’s self-care goals. We make choices every day which may range from the profound to the trivial and each one of these choices has an effect on what makes our life journey bountiful. Creative guidance will lead to choices that create an effective, balanced, and fulfilling journey.

As one of the greatest minds in the Holistic movement, Dr. Herbert Shelton once said, “The Whole is Greater than its Parts.”
Modern humans have been grappling for decades trying to find the right diet and the universal scientific basis to support the many rationales. The subject of human dietetics is so confusing with so many “right diet” plans for us humans to follow. What should we eat and why? Strive to maintain the proper acid/alkaline balance for optimum health and wellness and avoid taxing your cellular functions and your physical and mental performance.
M3
Meditation, Motion, Mindfulness
M3 is the belief that through Meditation, Motion, and Mindfulness in applying the concepts of Holistic Health, we establish the ability to connect and manifest what is true to ourselves. This interactive triad assists in our practice to understand the meaningful connections between one’s mental well-being and one’s overall physical presence and health. Mindfulness, Meditation, and Motion have been proven to increase mental agility and resiliency. The results are that resilient individuals use positive emotions to bounce back from negative emotional experiences.
This journey of self-discovery helps us better connect with our feelings, turn intentions into action, and make informed decisions about what matters to us. Further, by practicing the art of being present we learn to collaborate, build better relationships, and therefore succeed in our personal endeavors. M3 is a practice that encompasses the three M’s. However, any of the three is also available as individual disciplines as they apply to your daily living.
Meditation. You will be taught the healing powers of Guided Imagery, Creative Visualization, Cognitive Restructuring, Awareness Training, Listening to the Self, and various ways of staying in the moment.
Motion: Understand that incorporating physical exercise; Yoga, Stretch, Muscle Memory Release even Dance into your total daily approach to living is a must and is a necessary and complementary process of cohesion.
Mindfulness: The power of being present in the here and now. Gaining experience of the benefits of clarity, meaningfulness, and value. Being good to yourself by loving your body, mind, and spirit. Understanding and incorporating the 8 pillars into your daily regimen.
You will receive a weekly assignment after each session that will target the topics discussed during our M3 session. I will be available in between sessions for supportive check-ins via text or email. I will have check-in hours allowing you to reach out if you need to walk through a process to reach a goal, vent about a tough situation, or celebrate new accomplishments. I got you, let’s M3.
The 8 Pillars and the
Natural Laws of Life.
Finding Balance – Understanding Growth
Health is often understood as the absence of sickness or disease. While this definition is valid, it lacks the comprehensiveness of a broader approach. Holistic Health considers the causes not the symptoms of disease and offers an alternative methodology that focuses on the Self and its optimum well-being and is sustained by one indivisible tendency: having the highest and best interest of the whole organism; living an anti-inflammatory lifestyle.
As we study the eight pillars: physical, nutritional, emotional, social, spiritual, intellectual, financial, and environmental we become aware and understand, where changes are needed in our mode of living. In my studies on Human Life, there are also Natural Laws (philosophies) that address the effects and the relative effects that these inherent laws have on maintaining a healthier organism.
The pillars will give you a sense of how to work toward your optimal wellness, but it’s by no means prescriptive. The path to wellness is not one-size-fits-all. The journey is unique and different for each individual. Your biology, personality, and environment will determine what wellness means to you. That’s why your approach should be personalized. The common thread for everyone is that wellness requires a holistic approach. We learn to maintain a well-balanced source of vital energy by avoiding enervation. The majority of human malevolence lies in our attitudes, perspectives, and undesirable habits.
Do you seek self-directed, lasting changes aligned with your values that promote health and wellness and thereby enhance your well-being? I will support you in solidifying practices of a holistic anti-inflammatory lifestyle with a sustained indivisible tendency: having the highest and best interest of the whole organism. As we study the eight pillars we become aligned through body, mind, and spirit with a practical pragmatic approach to life. We begin a positive new journey in natural health and healing.

The Journey begins now!
There is a concept that when we learn to surrender our bodies to our minds, our minds to the soul, and the soul to the power of the Universe we become better aware of ourselves, pay better attention to the present moment, and seek a sense of inner peace and purpose.
